Building Trades

The general standard of building trades in Sweden is high.  Carpenters, plumbers, electricians and all other trades are certified to carry out their business and most tradesmen in the region have a very good grasp of English.

The service standards are generally high as well and tradesmen are respected and their work valued much more than many other European countries.

DIY has become more widespread over the last few years and there are several large building supply companies comparable to any DIY chain in most European countries.  Supplies can be collected by the buyer, delivered to the nearest retail supplier and often direct to the buyer’s home.
