Snowmobiling

For those that like the thrill of driving motor vehicles, snowmobiling offers an excellent way to explore the wilderness. Snowmobiles do not damage the forests or mountains as the snow acts as protection under the machines. Trips can be taken in the mountains where you can drive for hours without seeing anyone, or you can simply drive out a couple of kilometres from your house to go fishing somewhere quiet, or meet some friends at a lake.

There are many hundreds of kilometres of well prepared tracks that are maintained over the winter. These tracks are perfect for the novice to use to learn how to drive a snowmobile.
